Fujifilm Launches Its X100F Camera

The previous Fujifilm X100 is the model which marked Fujifilm’s entry into mirrorless models. It has now introduced its latest model.

The Fujifilm X100F comes after the Fujifilm X 100T. It comes packed with a higher-resolution 24.3MP X-Trans III CMOS APS-C sensor.

More upgrades on the X100F include enhancement on the optical viewfinder. You can now enjoy an extra 6x magnification. It is such a vast improvement from the previous 2.5x. Fujifilm made further modifications on the electronic viewfinder’s frame rate. It now shoots up to 60fps.  It is an excellent feature for helping street shooters who need capturing action as it happens.

It comes with an upgraded autofocus system. Autofocus points have been increased to 91 from 49. Shooting in action is a breeze on the Fujifilm X100F.

On aesthetics, Fujifilm has made tweaks on the X100F’s control scheme in related to that of the X100T. All rear buttons have been shuffled. Users now have more room where to put their thumb. The X100F comes with an AF joystick just like the one on Fujifilm X-Pro 2 and X-T 2.

Fujifilm added its Fujinon 23mm f/2 lens on the X100F though it has its optics. To the disappointment of many street shooting enthusiasts, this camera does not have weather proofing.

It is available now in silver and black color options.
