US bans electronics on flights from 8 countries

Planning on traveling to the US from the Middle East and Africa, this is for you. It’s not good news. You need to be careful on the contents of your luggage. News coming in from the US has it that the Tramp Administration has passed a new regulation concerning travel with electronics like cameras.

All passengers originating from countries like Egypt, Qatar, Turkey, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Morocco, and the United Arab Emirates. Passengers from these countries are no longer allowed to board with electronics bigger than a mobile phone. Items like cameras, tablets, and laptops.

This new law began to be active on 3 a.m. E.D.T. on Tuesday 21, March 2017. It has to be put in place within the next 96 hours. Foreign airlines flying from the listed countries have to enforce this new law.
